Internet Security Webmaster: Learn About the Owner of the Site
First of all I'd like to welcome you to Internet Security Suite Reviews which is a part of the Computer Deals Guide Network. My name is Jim Polak and as this site's webmaster, I hope the information I provide helps you learn about online security threats and ultimately helps you select an internet security product that fits your needs and keeps your computer safe.
A little bit about myself: I'm a regular guy who has a great interest in computers and the way the internet works. Like many people I like to flip through the ads in the Sunday newspaper. I always set aside the ones that are electronics-related. I like to look for laptop and desktop deals even when I'm not in the market to buy a new computer. I also like to see what new computer technologies are coming out.
Over the last 5 years I've gained quite a bit of experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and securing not only my own computers,

but also desktops and laptops belonging to friends and relatives. I have used or worked with internet security products from Norton, McAfee, F-Secure, Trend Micro, Grisoft, Kaspersky, Lavasoft, along with a few others.
I work from home. I like to consider myself an internet infopreneur. This site is one piece of a large internet project I'll be working on throughout the course of 2007-2008 and beyond. I've actually been working from home since June of 2004(following a 7 year engineering career in the automotive industry). I've dabbled in several different internet areas looking for a way to build a stable online income to support my family and to save for the future. I finally decided to go with what I know and what I'm good at. So I'm taking my interest in computers and the internet and building content-based websites around my knowledge and research.
